The Classic Car Boot Sale

On Saturday we took a sunny stroll along the Southbank to the annual Classic Car Boot Sale organised by the Vintage Festival. This year they had asked me to judge Best Stall so I was excited to get in about the thrift to choose my favourite...

stall

Super colourful stall full of 1950s and 1960s treasures.

We arrived around lunchtime and our tummies were rumbling so we headed straight to the food area to fuel up before the mega trawl. There was a superb selection of food trucks from Annie Mac’s mac ‘n cheese to Bob’s Lobster arranged around a dazzling display of vintage vehicles from 1950s cadillacs to 1960s bubble cars. Drinks were served from a Routemaster bus which housed the DJ in the open top deck and the scene was set for a fantastic afternoon of thrifting, dancing, eating and drinking!

Here’s are some of my favourite vendors, vehicles and vintage…
